Seeing this really dated me... I remember when Michael and I first saw Ziggy Marley at the old Filmore in San Francisco. Michael got tickets from one his hotel contacts and we went to the opening night. It was Ziggy Marley and The Melody Makers and the album was Conscious Party. We brought a bottle of wine for the Manager of the Filmore as a thank you. When we went to drop it off at his office, the late Bill Graham was with him. It was really a thrill to meet him and a memory I'll never forget.
That was over twenty years ago and now Ziggy is 40. His latest album is Family Time. It has all sorts of other artists on it like Paul Simon, Jack Johnson Willy Nelson, Little Feat and a bunch of others. The whole theme is kids and family and it's really sweet. A perfect download for the Road Trips with your own family this summer.
